up, down, all around, EVERYWHERE

The most scariest thing I have riden on are the roller coasters. The first time I rode one was not too long ago. It was during the month of July. There was Nicole, Ariana, Sabrina, Marissa, Nick, Anissum, Christina, Patrick, that one girl, and I. We were going on the ride that was called, "The big dipper." As we were going, I was sitting next to Ariana and her and I was soo excited. But actually I didn't tell her I was feeling scared. So, we were going through a short tunnel and going and going. I heard a lot of people as we got out of the tunnel. I could smell and feel the fresh air. There was screaming and crying. Every where I looked there were literally thousands of people. The roller coaster was going up and as we got to the top Ariana and I said, "I hate this already!!" We were freaking out and as we were going down it went realllly fast and I felt the cool breeze and it felt great. But the act of actually talking or riding on it made me sick. I wanted to get off the roller coaster, but too bad. I was already on it and Ariana and I were just screaming, Christina was just laughing and I said, "what the heck? I hate life, i hate life!!!" The roller coaster was just going up and down, all around. I felt like puking. Ariana didn't look as good too. I kept my eyes closed and opened them. Closed them again. Holding on tight, trying not to let go. As the roller coaster was moving, it felt like a huge jolt when we turned and went up and around. It felt as if i was being pulled by someone. But i held on tight. The ride was done and I said, "I ain't gonna go on another huge and long scary ride that goes up and down, all around. EVERYWHERE! That freaked me out." We looked at the screen-shots and I saw that i kept my eyes closed as we were coming in. I looked at Ariana and I said, "Boy, you don't look all right...Do you feel sick?" She just looked at me and said, "I don't feel so good." I was shaking and couldn't believe that i just rode THE BIG DIPPER. The first picture is before we went on the big dipper. the second one is after we got off. i dont look as good too. But still, it was one heck of a ride. It was pretty awesome and scary at the same time.
P.S. Christina asked us if we were ready to ride it and guess what? Everyone said yes, so she said OK. Tuned out it was just my feelings. AAAAH can you believe this?

Burglary in ACTION

In class today there was a burglary. So, after we got done with reading class we went onto writing. The high school was blogging, Lyle and Patrick came in to steal the copy machine. It reminded me so much of a movie. But I forgot what it was called. So theres these two guys and they hear that theres some very rich and shiny thing. The bad guys, as in two people, try to steal it. But then the two good guys try to stop them. The good guys got the shiny thing but the bad guys keep getting it. They keep taking it back and losing it. So it goes on and on, until finally the master takes it and goes away. This picture reminded me of the movie i watched. Pretty funny isn't it? Well there is Patrick and Lyle stealing the copy machine. We were laughing and after they went out, i thought of BURGLARY. hehe.

A World With no Adults

Imagine yourself all alone and think of having nothing. As for example; no parents, adults, or who ever is older than 18 years old or so. Nothing, absolutely no adults. Thinking of all that can make kids scared and have no one to be there for them. For myself I am but a child and the same as everyone else, no parents and nothing. It has struck me far and hard for the world having no adults to be there for you when something is wrong.
My name is Jonathan and I’m just 11 years old and I live in a cold, damp, dark house and there’s no one to take care of me, except for my friends. With all the curiosity going and questions, I want to know how or why there are no adults in the world. So, I get ready and go to one person who knows the answer for that. His name is Mr. Akmenraw (who is young too)
When I get ready, I remember that there’s a gang that is waiting to pick on me. So I decide not to go. But anxious to find out, I get an idea who can journey along with me. That person is my best friend since I was 7. Her name is Charlene Locke and she has been my best friend. She does not like to do sports, but she loves to swim. So I just run along to her house that is three blocks away. It takes me 15 minutes to get there and tell her to come with me to Mr. Akmenraw. I get to Charlene’s house and see that there is a note on the door. It says, “I am at the school pool, I will be back at 5:00 p.m. Come back and I’ll get to you. Love, Charlene” “Darn”, I think. What am I supposed to do next? “Okay lets see, I could go to the school pool, but it takes me 45 minutes to get there. Yawn oh well, I’ll just be back at 5:00 p.m. I’m getting a little sleepy. Hmm..I have two hours left. So I’ll just wait at home.” I get home and jam out on music. A few minutes later, I have fallen asleep. I dream a wonderful dream, and see adults. But there’s something missing, KIDS! Oh my gosh! I start running around like a maniac. Going crazy, in my head, through every parts of my body is freaking out. I wake up screaming and see that it is 9 a.m. Oh my gosh! With the world with no adults, I am nothing.
There’s no one to be there for me when I have bad dreams. Must. Get. To. ARIZONA! I pack ad just forget about Charlene. I go and go. Never looking back at my home. For many days it has kept me calm. For a month I finally get to Arizona.
I find the person who I have searched for. I come into his house and there he is, Mr. Akmenraw. The person who knows why there are no adults. He says, “Can I help you? Are you lost?” I stutter and mumble for I have many questions to ask him. “Yes.” I answer him. “Is there by any chance you can help me find out why there are no adults?”, I say. He looks at me and says, “Why do you ask me that? Come with me and I will show you.” We walk down to this room. Where it seems to be a huge. He turns on the light and my heart filled with joy. Mr. Akmenraw says, “Have a look see, you will see I am working on them.”
On this merry day I have searched one too many. For now I can be safe. In that room there were many people. All sizes and shapes, black and white. For three years I’ve been wondering what “adult” means. For now I know, they are who takes care of you. I am living here, in my house, with my parents. In that room were many adults and parents. I have chosen to write about this because that was my life when I was 11 years old. My name is Jonathan and I am now 17 years old. What you have read is a mystery about my life. With no adults in the world, what would we have done? Think about that.

This is just a made up story I had to write in writing class...its just one of my writing storys. BLAH! idk. I like thsi story. So I just wanted to share what I wrote for Erins class. Hope you enjoyed it. ya'll im out. :D :P

Reading Project

On Monday we preformed our reading project. It was soo fun because everyone felt good about their project and it was awesome. Almost everyone in the village came and at the same time it was embarrasing, but not really. The high school readers in my class had to dress up as their character in which they chose to do for their character monologue. There were snacks and the kinda looking cheese cakes, in which i could smell, were very good. The performance was a little afterwards after the adults asked about our books and why we did that and this. It was funny how kids went to me and asked who I was and it was kinda scary. lol. When the character monologue came up I was becoming nervous and my heart was pounding. But I wasn't showing it, well maybe, kinda I don't know. I was the second performer and I was the wife in the story, "Like the sun." I had to say my point of view in the story and how I felt because "I" wasn't doing much in the story. It was exciting and scary at the same time and I enjoyed how it went. I felt really accomplished of what I had done with my reading project and my character monologue. Pretty much of what I have to say what I did on Monday.

River opening

I'm so excited that the river is opening! This morning I heard that the police or whoever, was finally going to open the river so we could go across and back by snow machine. When I heard about that I was like, "REALLY?!". It was funny because when I said that, I looked at Anissum and he was kind of laughing, so I started laughing. When the river opens up, I'm going to visit my cousins and finally get to see my grandma! AAHH!!! I'm getting excited. But :'( man...I wonder which meet we are going to this week. Darn, oh well I guess I'll have to wait until we can't go to a meet. Shucks. But its ok, I can still get to see them. I'll ask my dad if he can bring me to visit. I'll have to wait and see. But oh my gosh, my weekend was fun. (and boring) -haha- I wish it was still Friday and Saturday. But not Sunday, it was boring yesterday. Because I had to go home at nine and I was like, "BE FRIDAY!! Gosh!" lol..But it was ok, at least I had some sleep this weekend. Going to bed after 11 or 12. It was ok, Oh well. THe river is opening. Can you believe that? ok. im just dropping off a few words and im done. later peoples.

wHaT eLsE?

Yesterday was that most funnest of all! I got to go walking with my bestestestestest friendest ever. [haha] We went to check the fort, and while we were going we started singing our vioces off. When we were singing I tried my loudest and I think I almost lost my voice. Which was a pretty good (bad) thing because I wanted to loose my voice, but at the same time I didn't want to. We were coming back (still singing our voices off) and we saw a mouse with a bushy tail. We looked around for that mouse and it was right in front of us. (i think it was playing dead, but im not sure) Me and Jackie started screaming and started running. I told her, "Don't worry, I think it was just playing dead." We started laughing and I was worried about seeing more mouses and so a little while after I got used to it about not thinking about it. SO yea. That was my yesterday after N.Y.O practice. It was FUNNAY!. lol..umm ok I think thats about it.
WHAT ELSE?

Status

Some things a person that has status is when friends ignore and don't talk back like regular friends do. When they do that, they get mad and start ignoring back. Sometimes friends don't get along with each other because of one thing. Hanging out with other people and not hanging out with your friend. That is when they get mad and start doing stuff that include ignoring, not talking to you, or anything that friends do. I don't like it when my friends do that to me. They start ignoring you and they seem like they are not your friend anymore. That is how I feel, I want to punch stuff and things like that when my friends are ignoring me. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!! I don't think that I am going to be able to say sorry to my friend for anything. Because I don't think that I did anything wrong.

long time!...

Yesterday I saw my kindergarten long time ago friend. When I saw him, I was like "OH MY GOSH! Kalila!! Like its been forever". I saw him and asked him when they came, he said two days ago. Then I hugged him, and I was going blank over my head. Because I couldn't believe that my friend from way back in kindergarten was here in Oscarville. I actually saw him and I am happy that I got to see him from a long time. When we were kids, Nick, Nicole, Kalila, and I used to be the BESTEST buddies in kindergarten. I remember we used to hang out and play all those kid-ish games like, playing not-it, hide and seek, and all those other games. I miss those days and I think that we are still the BESTEST buddies from long time ago. During nyo practice we were bothering each other and..shh, i think he has the likes on me....uuh but im not so sure of that. Kalila still bothers me like he used a long time ago. I miss those days and I wish I could turn back time and still have those days.

mY WeEKeND

My weekend was BORING, capital B-O-R-I-N-G. But I got some time to have a little fun, which was four-wheel riding, walking, and hanging out with my friends. I went to Napaskiak on Friday (i woulda went there on Thursday) for an hour and then went to Akiachak with my anaan. When we were going, it was super-duper cold and I was glad that I brought two coats. We stopped in Bethel before heading to Akiachak, and by "we" thats Georgianne, Wii-wii, Fannie, Qam, Nurr, and I. In Bethel we went to get gas and something to eat at Swansons. At swansons Georgianne and Wii-wii got me Jo-jo chips and pop and they go the same thing also. In swansons I saw my best friend, Adrianne and Janeen. I got happy when I saw them, and they told me to go to Napaskiak but then I was going to Akiachak. After that me and Georgianne went down to the boat by cap and Wii-wii went somewhere and said that he'll go to the boat in a little bit. When we go to the boat, I saw my dad and asked him for money...but he didn't have any. So "we" just waited at the boat. I saw my uncle Willie's truck, and I went to go see them Janeen..then i went back to the boat. A little while later we started heading to Akiachak after Wii-wii came to the boat. It was a 1 and a half hour ride to Akiachak. In Akiachak, i went over to my anaans place and warmed up. After that I went out to get my anaans kids over at my uncle Alexanders house. Then I went on the computer at my anaans house and chatted with my friends. I disconnected the phone-line and Boycie called. He said hi and asked if we already came, and i said yea. After that my anaan went to go work and I had to baby-sit AAALL weekend until 3 or 4 a.m. It was crazy! i would go to bed around 6 a.m. and wake up around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Because of that my anaan and her boyfriend went to get a four-wheel up in Bethel. On Saturday it was the usual, baby-sitting and stuff. Going to bed late. It was a BORING weekend. I didn't like it...But on Saturday I got to have fun with my friends. We went four-wheel riding, walking, and stuff..AFFTER that...i went to my anaans and still baby-sat. Boycie said that I had to stay inside the house and baby-sit. i got lazzy and uh my anaan came around 4 i think. Went to bed around 5 and woke up around 12. It was dumb because I was still sleepy and ended up being cranky. Until i went to visit my friend. A few 30 minutes my auntie (anaan) said that I was going home. BLAh BLAH BLAH i came home and uh i forgot. That was my weekend last week. I hope that tomorrow i get to have more fun.

N.Y.O PRaCTiCe

*Native Youth Olympics*

During N.Y.O practice we have to stretch and do a lot more stretching. We do hard stretches until we feel the pain coming into our body and trying to make us give up. Yesterday we had N.Y.O practice and stayed 10 minutes longer because we were late for 10 minutes. But it was ok, at least i got to go home and eat. lol. When i was walking home, my legs were aching like he** and my muscles were in pain i hardly could walk. But i made it home and i was wondering if my mom would ask why im walking funny, but she never. Cause i was really sore i kinda stayed home and went to go visit jackie for little bit. Then i went home and had computer time...which was fun because i had a break from N.Y.O for that day. N.Y.O is about working as a team and working your best and hardest as a team in other villages. Yea im very sore today and i hope we dont be late again today. Its ok. it'll be good.

Umm 9-26-08 =)

Yesterday i was out and mostly stayed home. So it was kind of lame, because I had nothing to do.
All I did was stay home and do some chores. After chores was computer, and then NYO. But we didn't have NYO yesterday, which sucked because I didn't want to stay home and be on computer, but i stayed home anyways. But at the same time I wanted to stay home and relax because I was really sore and wanted to chat with friends for a while. Umm then I went to check at the jungle. Which I shouldn't have gone there because there was only Boya and Henry over there. So it WAS VERY boring. I went home (running) because I thought that would make me less sore. Eventually the next day i was very sore. Which I was okay with because I ignored it. lol. umm then school. I am so weird. I'm using different colors because I'm bored and I have nothing to talk about. And I hardly using green. eeewww! green looks kinda ug. But i like the light green color. It looks pretty. ok there is nothing left to say.

AAHHH!!!

Yea. So as "some" of you know, I had a pretty rough night last night, which sucked because I only had 4 or 5 hours of sleep. My mom and I were looking for my dad, calling his "smoker" friends up in Bethel and I knew that he was going to be drunk because he didn't go home until 9. He was gone since 1 something, like after I went to the school or something around that time. So it was getting late, around 8 before 9 i got wet and dirty (the water was cold, and the mud was icky and "EEEWWW".) Yeah and I was kind of pissed off about it because I thought I would get sick more because of the water and yea. I went home and about 20-25 minutes my dad came home while i was on the computer doing something. Right when I saw my dad I kind of freaked out a little (more like, AAHHH!!!) When I saw that my mom was getting ready to go out, I packed my computer and went out of the house so that I would not be able to be stuck at home with my parents. I got out and went to check at my grandma Theresa's house so I could let my auntie Marie check my house and she never. When she didn't go check at home I went to Jackie's house and decided that I would fallow my mom & siblings to Erin's house. I went over and I showered, Christina let me shower. Then after that we watched, "The Labryinth". (like i know how to spell it :P lol) After the movie got done, I edited part of my ELD movie and then I couldn't sleep for a while until I dozed off into space. Right there I fell asleep. Then blah blah blah, in the morning I went to school (with the rest of my siblings) and my mom went home. That was how my day was when my dad got drunk that day/night. Umm I guess I'll tell more story's later. Or whenever.

Fiction Story

Got'cha

Once upon a time there once lived a girl named Chinace E. She was a girl who was full of politeness and manners. She lived in a little town called “Tangle” with her ANNOYING brothers and sisters. One day she was washing dishes and started singing, “Somewhere over the rainbow.” After she was done, she went outside to feed her dog, named Sparky. While she was feeding him a tornado came and her brothers and sisters went into the basement and locked it. Chinace looked everywhere for them. She eventually went into her house as a burst wind made the door fly open and knocked her out.
She woke up (in her dreams) in a tornado as a witch passed by her window. Her house dropped down to the ground and went outside to see where she was. Chinace was surprised that she wasn’t in Tangle. The good witch of the east came and asked her if she was a good witch or a bad witch. Chinace said, “I’m not a witch at all.” She then asks her where she was and the good witch of the east said, “You are in Munchkin Land and you killed the bad witch of the west.” Chinace was both scared and surprised. She said, “I didn’t mean to kill any bad witch. It’s just that a tornado came to my town and my house just dropped here.”
The good witch of the east tells the Munchkins to come out and tells them that Chinace has killed that bad witch of the east. The good witch takes blue glittered slippers off the bad witch of the east and puts them on Chinace. She says they’ll protect her from the bad witch of the south. Chinace says she wants to go home to see if her brothers and sisters are okay. The Munchkins and the good witch of the east tell her that the Wizard or Got’cha will help her Chinace back home. They tell her to follow the yellow brick road and said it will take her to the Wizard of Got’cha.
While she was walking she got confused because there are four ways to get to the Wizard of Got’cha. So she goes to the left and meets Harmiony G. Harmiony asks her where the road leads. She tells her to the Wizard of Got’cha. Harmiony then asks Chinace if she could come along to get a Ruler for her kingdom. Chinace agrees and off they went.
Harmiony had 3 brooms that could fly. As they are flying high in the sky Chinace hears a band playing a beautiful song. They follow the music to the ground and are dazzled and shocked to see “Three Cute Boys” playing a song.
Chinace started to laugh and one boy looked at her and then told the other boys to stop. The boys (known as The Jonas Brothers) were introduced by the youngest brother.
Harmiony got really jealous. She tried to make herself attractive by making a few heart shaped sky-clouds. Inside it, it said “I love the Jonas Brothers.” After that the second oldest finally asked where Harmiony and Chinace were going. They both said, “To the Wizard of Got’cha.” The Jonas Brothers asked if they could come so they could get uniforms. Chinace said yes, and off they went.
While they were walking minding, their own business, they saw the village where the Wizard of Got’cha lived. They hurried off and ran towards the castle. When they got there, the bad witch of the south blocked their way and Harmiony got so mad she spat on her. The witch then started to melt. So the whole group went in. Once inside Chinace asked if the “Wizard of Got’cha” could bring her home, back to “Tangle.” He said, he had heard she killed the bad witch of the south. He said for that you should be rewarded. He brought her back home safely.

My Birthday Party

This week for my birthday, my family and I decided to go to Kwethluk. While we were in Kwethluk there was a lot of stuff going on. On friday, my uncle Jam was drunk and I asked my dads brother, Willie If I could sleep at his house that night and I heard people outside of my gramas house. So the next morning I went to my gramas house and slept for a while...later on I went to vist some friends and had a lot of fun. We played basketball, went walking, and also four-wheel riding. Which was the most funnest on Saturday. On Saturday I slept at my grams house and went to bed around 2 or 3 o'clock. hehe. I watched movies and they were called, "Sleep Walking, Knock Knock, and Meet the Browns". All of those movies were good movies, and "Knock Knock" was the most horrifying movie I had ever watched. When I was watching it with my auntie, Josephine, we were saying, "Eeww, so gross...and other stuff". The next day, there was Sunday church and augtuq and other stuff. My cousin, Margene thought that I liked Uppa Joe. Who was her cousin and I DID NOT LIKE HIM. lol. He was at my birthday party, which was embarrassing to me and I didn't want to have my birthday with lots of people. When I had my birthday party the candles were showing and it was like the lights were off when i was watching the recording. Before I blew out my candles, I didn't know what to wish for, so I just thought, "What else could I wish for? I have everything I want" and so I didn't wish. We had spaghetti, jello, and cake. Also some yummy chicken soup with vegetables, chicken noodles with the flavor, and chicken legs. lol. After a litte while we got ready and started heading home.
When we got here, I went home and put away the clothes and coats and stuff. After that I went out and went to check Jackie at Jimmys house. I went there and went out again, went to check at Carls house and to see if Andrew was there. I told him that Kwethluk was fun and all that. There was Andrew, Carl, Daisy, Patrick, Wilma, her boyfriend, and Howard at Carls house. OH AND ME TOO! hehe. Andrew, Carl, Patrick, and I went out by the school and checked our mail. Then i got bored and went to check Jackie, we went out walking and started talking about stuff i did and what she did on our weekend. It was fun until it started raining!! I told Jackie, "Lets go, I dont want to be wet", or something like that. I went home and I let Mickey clean my room so it wouldn't have to be cleaned today. So after that I went to bed and so on...The next morning, today, I went to school and blah, blah, blah. Todays Monday and so I'm at school.

P.S, I got a perm thingy for my birthday. Im going to perm my hair today. YAY! That was my weekend up in Kwethluk.

Winter

I'd never thought I would see the day that would come in November. But I saw that season and I was so happy that I started loving winter more than summer. I love winter because there are no gnats, its always the coldest time of year, and there is snow. Winter is the best season that I love and I wish it would stay winter forever. During the winter the trees fill with with white and shiny snowflakes that make them look like fake white Christmas tree. There is only one thing that I hate about winter and that is the metal. I hate it when someone gets there tongue stuck on the metal. It makes me feel like my tounge is stuck on there too, but i never think of it too much so I wont feel sick. I hope winter comes fast.

The Cloudless Evening and Night

Yesterday Jackie and I quickly cleaned up some of her house and then ate meat soup. I ate one bowl of delicious meat soup, when Jackie had to bowls. After we got done eating Jackie got bored so we went to the big building with her two talent search folders and some colors. :P We both climbed up the big building, (even though I was kind of scared), and started drawing/doodling. We were rocking out on some music on my iPod with Jackies speakers. After I drew a couple pages of my doodles, I took my iPod and my headphones and listened to my own music...Jackie did the same thing too. :) Umm Daphne saw us up on the way top and asked us how the heck we got all the way up there, and then I said, "We climbed up monkey style." Daphne looked at us and started laughing, Jackie and I started laughing with her. Couple minutes later my sister Kayleen, she came to get me because it was time for me to go home and I told Jackie that I was going home. Jackie told me to wait for her and I climbed, she gave me her two red folders before she climbed down. Then we were walking home and I told her, "Good Night", and she said "Good Night" back. I came home and went to bed after I watched "Fun with Dick and Jane", which is a pretty hilarious movie. No I kinda lied, I went to bed after I played games on my iPod. Then after that I fell asleep and I thought about how much i had fun yesterday.

The Story Of A Girl :)

My name is Chinace Ann Egoak, but I would prefer to be called by my nick-name "IssaGirl". I was born on September 15, 1994 in Bethel. I am 5''3' and I have dark brown eyes. I have long-short hair, with glasses. My parents are Adolph Sr. and Nastasia Larson. I have five siblings that are mostly girls, but I only have one brother, which is sad :(. There names are Elizabeth, Adolph Jr., Kayleen, Raeanne, and Kristine who is the last adopted girl in my family. My paternal grandparents names' are Maggie and Alexie Larson. My grandpa passed away two years ago, but I dont want to say how he passed away. They have five children and a total of 23 grand-children. My maternal grand-parents are Raymond Sr. and Elena Egoak, and also my grandpa passed away from cancer in the year of 2005. Together they have 14 children and a total of 19 grand-children. You can say I have a huge family, but you know, its more than you think. I know that I have a different last name, but I was born before my parents got married. I was raised both in Oscarville and Kwethluk. Oscarville is a small village that is five or six miles away from Bethel. The population in Oscarville are about 60 or 70 people, and there are 20 houses total in Oscarville. About Kwethluk-it is where I was raised until my brother was born. Then we moved to Oscarville when I was starting 1st grade at Qugcuun Memorial School. Until now I have a best friend named Jackie and I cant imagine living without her in my best friend girly life. Jackie, if your reading this....your the best friend I've ever had.
P.S. my favorite color is blue. hehe
